Most businesses
look smaller
than they are.

We build cinematic content, advertising and creative strategy for ambitious businesses. The kind of work that makes a customer assume you are the premium option before they ask about pricing.

01 The problem

Your competitor isn't better than you. They just look like they are.

A fire safety company, a brokerage, a physio clinic. Most of them post the same phone footage, the same stock graphics, the same generic captions. So customers pick on price, because nothing else separates you.

Content changes what people assume about you before you say a word. That is the whole job.

The proof

Advertising, cinematic social content, photography and full brand campaigns. Different industries, same standard.

Category 01
Advertising / Paid creative

The category where creative quality shows up directly in the numbers.

Great advertising starts with great creative, not a bigger budget.

When an ad underperforms, the instinct is usually to spend more on it. We think that is the wrong order of operations. A weak ad with a large budget just reaches more people who scroll past it.

Our approach is to build creative strong enough to hold attention on its own, then use paid media to amplify something that has already proven it works. It is why our clients have seen real returns from budgets that would be considered small.

Solution Leads

A lead generation company in a category where every competitor runs the same kind of ad. We built two spots that were simple to film but did not look like anything else in the feed. The result is that people arrive at the call already wanting to work with them, instead of needing to be convinced during it.

Two ads. Thirty dollars a day. The creative did the work that a larger budget usually gets asked to do.

OptiHealth

A 28 day challenge that had already been advertised once, by another agency, with a larger budget. We rebuilt the creative from the concept up. Seven clients signed on the first day it ran, and the challenge was fully booked inside two weeks on half of what the previous campaign had spent.

Cinematic / Social content

The pieces that raise how good a brand looks. Gyms, clinics, service businesses and brands, each with a different job to do.

Épic Gym
Bob, the skit
Humour built around a character members recognise. Written to be shared rather than scrolled past, because the funniest content in a category is usually the only content anyone remembers.

Category 03
YouTube / Long form

Big productions, vlogs, competition weekends. Different discipline, different skill.

Holding somebody for ten minutes is not the same job as holding them for ten seconds.

Short form rewards a strong hook. Long form rewards structure, pacing and a reason to keep watching after the novelty wears off. Most video companies are built for one or the other.

We shoot and cut both. Full productions, day in the life, competition weekends with athletes where you are following the work for three days straight and the story only exists if you were there for all of it.

Nico Thibault
Channel promo
Cut to introduce a channel and set the tone for what the audience is signing up for. Pacing built to survive a scroll on a platform where nobody owes you the next second.
Brass
Post show reel
Shot across a competition weekend. The kind of footage that only exists if somebody is there for the parts nobody plans for, then cut down to the moments that carry the story.
R 01
Full productions
Multi camera, lit, planned. Concept and script through to final grade.
R 02
Vlogs and day in the life
Handheld, fast, close. Built to feel unplanned while still being edited properly.

Competition weekends
Three days on the road with athletes, filming everything, cutting it into something worth watching.

Shooting athletes is a specific skill

Conditioning only reads on camera if the light is doing the work. Angle, hardness, direction and distance decide whether a physique looks like months of preparation or like a snapshot. Getting that right is the whole job, and it is why athletes come back rather than shooting it themselves.

How apparel shoots work. You ship the product. We source athletes who fit the brand, direct the shoot, and deliver campaign stills plus vertical film from the same day. Product pages get the detail shots. Paid ads get the cutdowns. Your feed gets the campaign.

Content strategy

The part most production companies skip. We build the plan the content lives inside.

We are not trying to make you dependent on us.

For recurring clients we build a full strategy document and content roadmap. What to post, what subjects to talk about, content pillars, target audience, positioning, and the difference between the content their own team should film and the work we produce.

The goal is a complete content ecosystem. Our high-end productions carry the brand, and the authentic content your team creates every week keeps you present between them. Both are necessary. Neither replaces the other.

SR 01
Content pillars
The four or five subjects your brand owns, so nobody on your team wonders what to post.
SR 02
Audience positioning
Who you are actually talking to, what they believe now, and what needs to change.
SR 03
Posting roadmap
A month by month plan across organic, professional and paid content.
03 Capabilities

Built for the job

Every project starts with the same question. What does your customer need to feel before they trust you? Then we build backwards from that.

C 01

Creative concepts, filming, editing and conversion focused advertisements built to be tested and scaled.
C 02
Cinematic social
Premium reels and short form productions designed to raise how good the brand looks, made vertical first.
C 03

Commercial, athlete, lifestyle, brand and campaign photography, colour matched to the video from the same shoot.
C 04
Campaign production
Larger creative concepts for launches, collections and brands. Concept, treatment, talent, production and delivery.
C 05
Content strategy
Content planning, social strategy, audience positioning and roadmaps your own team can execute against.
C 06
YouTube and long form
Full productions, vlogs and multi-day shoots, edited for retention rather than for a fifteen second window.
C 07
Post-production
Advanced editing, animation, motion graphics, VFX, sound design and creative finishing.
04 Post-production

Production does not end when the camera stops.

A lot of what makes a piece of content land happens after the shoot. Pacing, sound, colour, motion, the way a hook is cut so somebody stays for the next three seconds. That work is a department here, not an afterthought.

Our post-production is led by Olivier Dandenault, who has spent years editing for major Canadian YouTube creators. That background matters because YouTube is where editors learn retention. Holding attention for ten minutes is a different skill than making something look pretty for fifteen seconds, and it shows up in everything we deliver.

Having production and post-production under one roof means we can commit to concepts a traditional videographer working alone would have to talk a client out of. Animation, compositing, sound design and motion work are available from the first conversation, not bolted on at the end.

05 Our difference

Most companies
do one half well

There are agencies that will sell you a beautiful strategy. Decks, pillars, positioning, all of it. Then the shoot day arrives, they set a camera on a tripod and say "okay, talk about this." And there are videographers who will make you look incredible without ever asking what the video is supposed to accomplish.

Strategy, no production
The deck agency
Sells a plan full of the right words
Camera on a tripod, talk into it
Content nobody outside the industry watches
Blames the algorithm
Production, no strategy
The videographer
Makes something genuinely good looking
Never asks what it is for
Hands over a file and leaves
You still do not know what to post
Both, on purpose
Nova Productions
Starts from the business objective
We write the scripts with you, not for you
Concept, hook and message before the camera
A plan delivered alongside the content
Production treated as seriously as the strategy

Volume is what you do when the work is not good enough

There is a reason so much of this industry sells posting frequency. When the content itself does not hold anyone's attention, the only lever left is making more of it. We would rather make four pieces that move something than twenty that fill a calendar. That only works if every piece earns its place, which is why the strategy and the production both have to be right.

Your work is not boring, it has just never been made interesting

Every profession has subjects that feel too technical or too routine to build content around. Preventive maintenance. Fire code compliance. Rehab protocols. The mistake is filming them for people who already work in the field. We build them for the customer you want, who does not care about the process and does care about what it means for them. Done properly, the least glamorous part of a business is often the most convincing thing it can show.

06 Who we are

The team

Creative strategy, cinematography, photography and advanced post-production under one roof. We also work with additional editors under our direction, which lets us take on more without loosening the standard.

I trained as a bodybuilder for years. Same discipline, different craft. Show up when it is inconvenient, obsess over details nobody notices individually but everybody feels collectively, do the reps.

I have put thousands of dollars into education, mentorship and marketing knowledge so that Nova does more than make good looking videos. I want to understand why a piece of content exists and what business objective it supports before we shoot a single frame.

Olivier turns the footage and the creative concept into the finished product. He is the reason we can promise things in the concept stage that other studios would have to scale back.

Years of editing for major Canadian YouTube creators, plus advanced animation, motion graphics, VFX, sound design and compositing.

He also trains and supervises our additional editors, so the work that leaves the studio looks like Nova whether he cut it himself or not.
